Emerson S-series IO subsystem

Product Description

The S-series IO subsystem has been redesigned with a focus

on fast assembly and simplified power connections. The system

uses only 24V DC bulk power supplies. All power is connected

to system carriers. Bus connectors have been upgraded to

support additional 12V DC power to the IO cards, allowing

additional power carriers to be inserted anywhere along

the bus.

Carriers mount to standard t-type DIN rail with latches that

require no tools for quick installation. The latches can be

released using a blade screw driver. Simply snap the carrier

to the rail and slide adjacent carriers together to engage the

bus connector.

The I/O carrier supports 8 IO modules. Each card can be

connected to an internal 24V DC bus using the Power Buss

Plugs, or it can be individually powered by using the

Power Terminal Plugs. The internal 24V DC bus is divided into

primary and secondary power, with primary power distributed

to odd numbered slots and redundant power distributed to

even numbered slots using the Power Buss Plugs.

TMEIC KPAD-3122A A3XAP02 LCD Display With Key Pad

Model: KPAD-3122A (commonly associated part number: A3XAP02)

Brand: TMEIC (Toshiba Mitsubishi Electric Industrial Systems Co., Ltd.,

a joint venture between Toshiba and Mitsubishi Electric)

Series: TMdrive series AC drive dedicated operation panel

Core function: Integrated LCD display screen and keypad, used for

parameter setting, status monitoring, and fault diagnosis of frequency

converters and servo drives

Product Type: Industrial Drive Operation Panel/Remote Keypad

Key specifications: LCD display | Built in communication interface |

Supports panel installation or cabinet door embedded installation |

Protection level IP65 (front panel)

TMEIC KPAD-3122A is a dedicated remote control panel designed by

Toshiba Mitsubishi Electric (TMEIC) for its high-performance TMdrive

series AC drives. It is not just a simple display, but also a window for

engineers to deeply interact with drivers. Through this panel, users can

view key data such as motor operating frequency, current, voltage,

and torque in real-time, quickly locate fault codes such as overcurrent,

overvoltage, and overheating, and modify hundreds of driver parameters

online to optimize equipment performance. The biggest advantage of

KPAD-3122A is its flexible installation method. It can be led out from the

driver body through a dedicated extension cable and installed on the control

cabinet door or operation console, greatly facilitating on-site debugging and

daily operation. Especially when the driver is installed at high altitude, deep

or in harsh environments (such as high temperature and high dust areas),

the remote panel can significantly improve work efficiency and safety.

Its sturdy design and IP65 protection level ensure long-term stable operation

in harsh industrial environments. For older devices using TMdrive-MVe2 or Je2

series, KPAD-3122A is often a scarce spare part after the original factory has

stopped production, which is crucial for maintaining continuous operation of

the production line.

ABB DIS880 Ability™ System 800xA® hardware selector

Select I/O is an Ethernet networked, single-channel granular I/O system for the

ABB Ability™ System 800xA automation platform.Select I/O helps decouple project tasks,

minimizes the impact of late changes, and supports standardization of I/O cabinetry

ensuring automation projects are delivered on time and underbudget. A Signal Conditioning

Module (SCM) performs the necessary signal conditioning and powering of the connected field

device for one I/O channel.

The DIS880 is a Digital Input 24V Signal Conditioning Module for use in High Integrity applications

(certified for SIL3) supporting 2/3/4-wire devices with Sequence of Events (SOE).

ABB DIS880 Features and benefits

Features and benefits

• Digital input for 2-wire, 3-wire and externally powered 4-wire field devices

• Can be used in hazardous areas

• Field device power output current limited to 30 mA

• Channel to channel galvanic isolation

• Configurable software signal filter 0…100 ms

• Protected against wrong wiring

• Diagnostics:

ABB CI920AN (CIPBA) Ability™ System 800xA® hardware selector

The remote S900 I/O system can be installed in non-hazardous

areas or directly in Zone 1 or Zone 2 hazardous area depending on

the selected system variant. S900 I/O communicates with the

control system level using the PROFIBUS DP standard. The I/O

system can be installed directly in the field, therefore the costs for

marshalling and wiring are reduced.

The system is sturdy, error-tolerant and easy to service. Integrated

disconnection mechanisms allow replacement during operation,

meaning that there is no need to interrupt the primary voltage in

order to exchange the power supply units.
