The EII102 combines many highly precise functions in a single module.

The module allows for extremely fast edge counting, measurement of periods

and pulse durations, and the evaluation of incremental encoders up to 32 MHz

for demanding motion and handling applications. Immediate reactions such as

latch, reset or counter enable are triggerable via digital inputs on the module.

An encoder supply directly via the module terminals completes the product family.

The EAS102 module type makes it possible to evaluate up to 2 absolute encoders.

SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) is used as the communication protocol.

Furthermore, a parity check and the evaluation of transmitted special purpose

bits are supported. The counting direction can be defined via the V/R output.

Referencing is initiated via the SET output. Digitally transmitted encoder errors

can be detected via a separate input. If the actual position is reaching a configured

comparison value, module-to-module communication enables a digital output to

be switched at the adjacent module without any time loss.

Type EAS102 M100 modules make it possible to evaluate

The PCC201 PC cards serve as a storage medium of the

M200 controller. Depending on the memory extension, the

PC cards may contain source codes and pieces of docu

mentation in addition to the operating system, the drivers

and the application software. The PCC201 PC cards can

directly be written to and formatted in all processor mod

ules of the M200 controller. With an A-PCC200 adapter it

is possible to use the PC cards in the PCMCIA slots of PCs

and notebooks. The PCC201 series is produced entirely in

house and therefore long-term supply is guaranteed.
