The EL3020 Gas Analyzer is designed in a 19-inch housing with 3 height units and IP20 protection.

Description of Analyzer Performance Characteristics

The performance characteristics of the analyzers are defined according to the international standard IEC 1207-1:1994 “Performance statements for gas analyzers”.

They are based on N2 as a companion gas. When measuring other gas mixtures, compliance with these characteristics can only be ensured if their composition is known.

Measurement principle

Non-dispersive infrared absorption photometers in the λ = 2.5-8 µm wavelength range can measure up to 4 compositions using 1 or 2 beam paths and 1 or 2 receivers per beam path in one gas path or two independent gas paths.

Hardware Tips and Specifications

This SDCC Abbreviated DriveControl Board requires its own series-specific hardware components and specifications in order to achieve its intended series functionality.

The GE Drive Control Board DS200SDCCG5A is equipped with 3 microprocessors and RAM that can be accessed by multiple microprocessors simultaneously.

These microprocessors are assigned to specific tasks within the drive control process, and the microprocessors are fitted with the firmware and hardware required to perform their respective tasks.

For example, a DS200SDCCG5A dcs-sis.com microprocessor is equipped with processing functions that perform the mathematical calculations involved in the common motor control function.

The DS200SDCCG5A board is also equipped with five EPROM connectors for storing configuration software. Four of the EPROM modules store factory-assigned configuration parameters.

Introduction

The Endura AZ20 is the latest in a long line of high-quality, combustion gas analyzers from ABB.

The sensor, based on a zirconium oxide cell, is mounted at the tip of the probe that is inserted in the flue duct. The resulting direct, in situ measurement provides accurate and rapid oxygen reading for combustion control optimization and emissions monitoring.

Probe Lengths up to 4.0 m (13.1 ft.)

A wide range of probe insertion lengths from 0.5 to 4.0 m (1.7 to 13.1 ft.) enable installation to the optimum measuring point for accurate oxygen measurement within the duct; even in the largest flue gas ducts and stacks.

A comprehensive range of mounting flanges provide simple installation when plant-wide standard flanges are required or when replacing existing probes.

The transmitter can be probe- or remote-mounted at distances of up to 100 m (328 ft.), thus providing versatile system options for all applications. The probe-mounted transmitter option provides the lowest cost of installation. However, the remote-mounted transmitter provides flexibility when the operationally ideal probe location does not provide easy access for the user.

Close Coupled Sampling System

The sensor assembly is mounted on the process wall and the probe and filter assembly extends into the process gas stream. A dcs-sis.com pneumatic injector is used to draw a sample from the process stream and feed it to the sensor head.

Oxygen analysis is performed by an industry standard zirconia cell.

Carefully metered dilution air is added and then calibrated for COe before the high sensitivity catalytic sensor is used to measure unburned combustibles.

The dilution air ensures a sufficient supply of oxygen to allow the COe sensor to function properly under abnormal process conditions where extremely low combustion oxygen levels may occur.

The tightly coupled extraction system enables tight temperature and pressure control of the sensor and sample gas.

This provides a stable background for target gas measurements, which improves the accuracy of the measurements.

Flame arrestors are installed in the sampling path to prevent flashbacks during startup when the combustible content of the process gas exceeds the Lower Explosive Limit (LEL), thus ensuring safe operation.

Flashback is prevented if the combustible content of the process gas exceeds the Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) during startup, shutdown, or process disturbances.

The sampling channel is kept hot to prevent acid gas condensation and corrosion.

IC200EBI001 Genius Network Interface Unit (NIU)

About the IC200GBI001

The IC200GBI001 is a VersaMax communications module. The module is a Genius network interface unit that allows VersaMax I/O modules to be installed in distributed I/O architectures.

The module is designed to accommodate up to eight (8) I/O modules per rack and supports the installation of up to eight (8) racks with up to 64 I/O modules.

It supports transmission speeds of 153.6 kbaud for extended network configurations; 153.6 kbaud, 76.8 Kbaud, and 38.4 Kbaud are standard, and the IC200GBI001

Can accommodate a large number of I/O points, specifically up to 1024 points for discrete inputs; 1024 discrete outputs; 128 dcs-sis.com bytes of analog analog input memory and 128 bytes of analog output memory.

The module can manage network input scans of 128 bytes per scan and scans of 128-bit outputs per scan. It consumes 250 mA @ 4VDC and 10 mA @ 3.3 mA.

The IC200GBI001 is compatible with a wide range of controller systems, as both previous and modern controller platforms support the Genius protocol.

Compatible control systems include the 90-70 series and the PACSystem RX7i and PACSystem RX3i.

The appropriate firmware version must be loaded onto the controller and the IC200GBI001 Genius Network Interface Module.

The IC200GBI001 is equipped with dual Genius connection terminals. The upper terminal is used as the primary Genius connection point and the lower terminal is used as a redundant port.

These ports are designed to be connected in a daisy-chain topology with terminating resistors at each end of the communication cable.

The appropriate resistor values on the serial 1 and 2 terminals are 75. 100. 120. or 150 ohms.

The GE Fanuc IC200GBI001 unit is a network interface unit or NIU manufactured by GE Intelligent Platforms/GE Fanuc.

It is part of the GE Versamax family and is designed to provide control functions for the different I/O modules connected to it.

When the NIU is installed with the correct firmware version, it is compatible with several modules such as Genius Bus controllers, Series 90-70 PLCs, and PacSystems RX7i and Rx3i PLCs.

Any computer that can control the bus can be used as a host PC.Each rack on the IC200GBI001 Network Interface Unit can hold up to 8 modules and supports up to 8 more racks.

The maximum network inputs that can be scanned per bus are 128 bytes, the maximum discrete I/O memory is 1024 points, and the analog I/O memory is 128 bytes.

The GE Fanuc IC200GBI001 unit has 2 different power settings, 10 volts at 3.3 mA current and 250 volts at 5 mA current.

It has a serial bus address range from 0 to 31. The data rate for the entire network is 153.6 kilobaud for extended transmission and 153.6 kilobaud-76.8 kilobaud, or 38.4 kilobaud, for standard transmission.

The 2904-BM01-M is an Allen-Bradley component designed for use with Kinetix 6000 drives.

The drive is used as an axis module (AM), is in the 400 VAC voltage category, and has a continuous current of 6.1 A and a peak current of 15.3 A. The drive is designed for use with Kinetix 6000 inverters.

The 2904-BM01-M mounts directly to the Kinetix drive power rail. It is typically mounted next to the Integrated Axis Module (IAM) along the power rails, where the module draws power from the power rails to power its internal circuitry.

The axis module connects to the motor and motion device via feedback cables, auxiliary feedback cables, I/O, and safety wiring.

Axis modules also allow the installation of a control module so that control inputs can be integrated into the module.

The 2904-BM01-M features a 500 Hz bandwidth speed loop and 1300 Hz current loop frequency and a 4 kHz pulse width modulation (PWM) frequency.

The module has a built-in internal shunt with 50 W continuous power, 5.6 kW peak power, and an internal closure resistor rated at 115 Ohms.

The voltage rating is 805VDC with the shunt on and 765VDC with the shunt off.

The efficiency of the module is 98% with a capacitance of 150 ?F and capacitive energy adsorption of 19 joules.

The rated power output of the module is 57 watts (20%), 75% (40%), 90% (60%), 108 watts (8%) and 126 watts (100% load).

These power output data can be used for computer cabinet ventilation purposes.
