YOKOGAWA YTA110 Temperature Transmitter

The YTA110 is the high performance temperature

transmitter that accepts Thermocouple, RTD, ohms or

DC milivolts inputs and converts it to a 4 to 20 mA DC

signal for transmission. The YTA110 supports either

BRAIN or HART communication protocol.

The YTA110 in it standard configuration is certified by

TÜV as complying with SIL2 for safety requirement.

 FEATURES

High performance

Microprocesser-based sensing technology ensures

long-term accuracy and high reliability.

High reliability

Dual-compartment housing realizes high resistance

capability to harsh environments, and YTA110 has

SIL2 capability for safety requirement.

Variety of sensor inputs

The type of sensor input is user-selectable from

thermocouples (T/C), RTDs, ohms, or DC milivolts.

Digital communication

BRAIN or HART® communication protocol is

available. The insturment configuration can be

changed by the user with using the BT200 or HART

communicator.

Self-diagnostics function

Continuous self-diagnostics capability ensures

longterm performance and lower cost of ownership.

LCD display with bargraph

The LCD display provides both a digital readout and

percent bargraph simultaneously.

YOKOGAWA Turbine Control Solutions

Since delivering the world’s first distributed control system (DCS) in 1975. Yokogawa has supplied globally

more than 30.000 DCSs of unsurpassed reliability and availability for control and protection. Today, Yokogawa’s

turbine control solutions are used for a wide range of turbines from small to large utility steam turbines,

boiler feed pump turbines, industrial gas turbines, mechanical drive turbines, hydro turbines, wind turbines,

synchronous modifiers, and more.

Integrated platform for the entire plant

An integrated system enables seamless operation via a common interface for an entire power plant encompassing the boilers,

burner management systems, balance of plant, and turbine systems. Servo and protection modules handle the critical turbine

control together with standard DCS hardware, while Yokogawa’s safety system protects the turbine. In terms of security,

ISASecure-certified controllers ensure safe operation.

Project execution

Yokogawa is highly experienced in projects to retrofit mechanical turbine governors and dedicated controllers for turbine control.

Supply, installation and commissioning encompass speed sensors, their brackets, hydraulic trip block systems, hydraulic actuators,

oil filters, turbine supervisory instrumentation, synchronizers, automatic voltage regulators and oil purification systems. Even

when replacing equipment supplied by the turbine manufacturer as part of the turbine units, Yokogawa can successfully upgrade

obsolete controls to leading-edge systems.

For new generation units, we are experienced in implementing turbine protection and control functions for their respective

turbine suppliers to realize integrated power plant control systems for users.

Extensive support for secure operation

Our 230 local service offices in 80 countries offer extensive support for users. Through your nearest service office, Yokogawa can

provide cost-effective service and maintenance spares for both plant and turbine control systems. Above all, as the world’s pioneer

of DCSs, Yokogawa supports both plant and turbine control systems over the long term, keeping your systems up to date and

protected against malicious cyberattacks as the world evolves.
