IR-TEC The PPU-300 is a full featured power pack and controller

OVERVIEW

The PPU-300 is a full featured power pack and

controller for low voltage lighting control system. It not

only supplies 24VDC power for the operation of

multiple low voltage occupancy sensors, but also

provides line voltage load switching in response to

signals from connected sensors or control devices.

The unit can be attached to a junction box through a ½

inch knockout with the designed threaded nipple and

locknut. It may also be mounted into fixture cable trays

or located inside an adjacent junction box for specific

local code requirements.

APPLICATION

• Light Control

• HVAC Control

• Building Management

The PPU-300 can be applied to control lighting circuits,

motors, self-contained air conditioners, VAV systems,

fans and motorized damper controls. By connecting low

voltage occupancy sensors, momentary switches and

PPU-300’s, bi-level switching with manual ON operation

can be achieved. Hold ON input is ideal for areas that

require overriding the occupancy sensor to force the

lighting ON during business hours.

DEIF AGC 150 ATS controller Flexible blackout prevention options

Flexible blackout prevention options

Designed for flexibility and efficient blackout prevention, the AGC 150 ATS includes an

Overlap feature that prevents blackouts during source switching by keeping the breakers

of both sources closed for a user-defined period and enabling short-time paralleling.

You can prioritise sources using parameters or digital inputs, offline or online, and you

can prioritise one of the connected sources, let the controller prioritise a source randomly,

or prioritise both in a three-breaker setup.

Two or three breakers supported

The AGC 150 ATS can control two or three breakers, allowing you to open and close a bus

tie breaker between the two power sources if needed. The controller can therefore be

configured for use in virtually any ATS application, anywhere in the world, including

the use of two sources simultaneously.

Easy setup and operation

You can easily configure the AGC 150 ATS for your application by adjusting its built-in

parameters or by using the M-Logic feature in DEIF’s free USW-3 utility software.

The sunlight readable LCD provides easy setup and quick access to important information.

On-screen text can be displayed in 8 languages, and the illuminated buttons smoothly

guide the operator and make the controller very easy and intuitive to operate.

Streamline power transfer with DEIF’s AGC 150 ATS controller

Streamline power transfer with DEIF’s AGC 150 ATS controller

Ideal for emergency power applications with any power source, the AGC 150 ATS

is a robust, flexible, and user-friendly ATS controller that can operate up to three breakers.

The AGC 150 ATS is a dedicated automatic transfer switch (ATS) controller capable

of handling any type of power source. Its flexible setup options let you use it in a

wide range of emergency power solutions by controlling up to three breakers.

The IP65 certified front-mounted controller is easy to install, set up, and use.

Any power source in Source-Source mode

In addition to Generator-Mains mode (operating the ATS to switch between a mains

incomer and a genset), the AGC 150 ATS can operate in Source-Source mode,

accepting any kind of power source (for example two mains incomers, or a combination

of mains or a genset with a battery energy storage system or a renewable power source).

The controller can send start and stop signals to both sources.

Many operating options

The AGC 150 ATS uses automatic mains failure (AMF) logic and control signals defined

by the controller’s input/output settings to operate the ATS. For example, it can monitor

a mains source for voltage, frequency, and voltage anomalies, switching to the secondary

source in case of issues (after sending a start signal and checking that the voltage from

the secondary source is within the defined limits, if needed).

DEIF DVC 550 Increased step load performance

Increased step load performance

Compared to analogue AVR’s, DEIF’s digital AVR handles larger load-steps within

the same frequency/voltage boundaries. Typically, the gensets will accept 10%

additional nominal load. The embedded help features increase performance.

The DVC 550 has no mechanical moving parts that regularly need replacement

meaning less downtime, less service cost and more effective regulation.

Fast backup for critical power applications

If connected to an  AGC-4 Mk II controller, the DVC 550 can (depending on how

fast the engine starts) synchronise multiple gensets within six seconds thanks to

DEIF’s unique close before excitation-feature (run-up synchronisation).

Critical power applications, in particular, will benefit from the improved control,

increasing safety and allowing faster start-up.

DEIF Dehumidify and dry your genset with integrated ventilation functions

Dehumidify and dry your genset with integrated ventilation functions

Condensation build-up during idle time is a common problem in tropical climates.

Use the genset ventilation mode to prevent condensation forming on the windings

by removing built-up humid air using the alternator fan. Power generation is postponed

until the humidity levels are safe. Condensation on the windings can be removed using

the genset drying mode. During drying mode heat generated from a controlled internal

circulating in the alternator winding is used to evaporate condensation on the windings.

The genset will be connected to the busbar when it is safe to do so.

The voltage controller monitors and regulates the alternator output voltage.

Automatic voltage control

The DVC 550 is a digital automatic voltage regulator, which monitors and regulates

the alternator output with rated field current up to 7 A and up to 277V AC

The controller includes several protections and functions to keep the alternator

running in full safe operation.

The DVC 550 controller can improve genset performance, delivering up to a 10%

increase of normal load impact capability and is suitable for any application in the

critical power, IPP and rental segments.

Optimise generator size

Due to high inrush currents during start-up, generators for electric motor starting

and transformer magnetisation are often oversized by up to 200%.

Featuring inductive motor starting and magnetisation boosting, DEIF’s DVC 550

reduces oversizing requirements to a minimum and thereby save capital cost.

channel to DEIF’s advanced controllers. Providing a high number of alternator data for

display, broadcast or predictive maintenance, the J1939 built-in communication is unique

on the market. You can quickly swap between nominal voltage and or frequency setting

for a generator. Using CAN bus-based communication for voltage regulation reduces

the potential number of failure sources.
