The IC695ALG626 is capable of providing sixteen (16) input channels if configured for single-ended inputs and eight (8) inputs for differential wiring. By supporting the HART protocol, each channel can communicate with an external HART communicator to access not only readings, but also other HART parameters.
The IC695ALG626 has LED status indicators such as the Module Normal, Field Status, and TB LEDs.The Module Normal LED is used to indicate that the module is configured correctly when the LED is green and constantly lit; if it is slowly blinking green or amber, there is an error; if it is blinking rapidly, the module is not configured correctly; and if the Module LED is off, there is a fault or no power.
The field status LED is green and always on, indicating that there are no faults on the enabled channel and when the terminals are present; amber indicates that the module’s channel is in a faulty state, and an extinguished LED indicates that the terminals are disconnected or incorrectly installed. The TB LED lights up red when no terminals are connected; it lights up green when terminals are connected and goes out if there is no backplane power.
The GE Fanuc IC695ALG626 module is an analogue input module with HART or High-Speed Addressable Remote Sensor Version 5.0 communications on each channel and four internal HART modems. The module provides 8 differential input channels and 16 single-ended input channels. The GE Fanuc IC695ALG626 analogue input module has a voltage range of +/-10 volts dc, 0 to 10 volts dc, +/-5 volts dc, 0 to 5 volts dc, or 1 to 5 volts dc.
The current configuration of the input channel can range from 0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA, or +/-20 mA. If the channel uses HART communication, the GE Fanuc IC695ALG626 analogue input module should be configured for a current range between 4 and 20 mA.
