The GE Fanuc IC695ALG412 is a PACSystem RX3i module. The IC695ALG412 is a strain gauge input module that is part of the PACSystem RX3i analog input module. The module features twelve (12) isolated differential input channels and is compatible with millivolt signals (e.g., ±150mV or ±50mV) and thermocouple instruments (e.g., J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N, or C types). The module can be used for direct connection to strain gauges and for temperature applications without the need for transmitters, signal conditioners, and other equipment.

The module occupies a single slot on the backplane and connects directly to the RX3i general purpose backplane only and directly to the PCI bus. The module also comes with internal diagnostics such as open circuit, short circuit, positive/negative rate of change, high, high-to-high, low and low-to-low channel diagnostics. In addition, the module has built-in interchannel isolation and is rated for continuous voltages of 250VAC; 1500VAC for 1 minute; 2550VDC for 1 second with an input impedance of >=500k ohms. The module offers a 10 dB improvement in noise rejection.
