About the IC670MDL742

The Field Control IC670MDL742 DC Negative Output Module is a GE Fanuc 5-, 12-, and 24-volt DC rated output module with 16 negative logic discrete outputs.

The outputs are used as current-sucking outputs to switch the load to the negative side of the DC power supply.Power for the IC670MDL742 DC Negative Output Module is provided by the bus interface module.

It is recommended that an external DC power module be used to provide the power required by the load. The module contains a 10 ampere rated fuse for connection to an external power source.

There is a clear potion on the top of the module for clearly visible LED indicators.

The IC670MDL742 DC Negative Output Module performs processing through the bus interface unit.

The bus interface module also helps to collect output data from a host device or processor.

Its PWR indicator LED can be used to check that the module’s backplane power is present and that the fuse is not blown.

The module has a maximum current rating of 2.0 amps for resistive loads, a voltage range of 5 to 265 VAC; 5.30 amps for 2 to 0 VDC and 31.125 amps for 0 to 2 VDC, and a maximum inrush current of 5 A for 20 ms, with a maximum load current of 10 mA per input The module has a typical response time of 10 ms to ON and OFF signal transitions, and if used with inductive loads, the response time is 10 ms per input. The module’s response time to ON and OFF signal transitions is typically 10 ms, and when used with inductive loads, the maximum switching frequency is 20 cycles per minute per channel.

The module’s contact outputs are made of silver alloy and have a contact resistance of 1.6 ohms at 2 A at 0 VDC. Each contact has an operating life of 20 x 10^6 operations (mechanical) and 10^5 operations (rated resistive load (electrical).

Fanuc IC670PBI001 Profibus Interface Unit

This IC670PBI001 operates when mounted on a Bus Interface Unit (BIU) terminal block. This terminal block provides a mounting kit that allows the module assembly to be mounted on a DIN rail. It also supports panel mounting via mounting tabs, which are also provided by the BIU terminal block.

To configure the module’s node address, it comes with an array of DIP switches that are located on the Profibus network interface of the IC670PBI001. It is an array of eight (8) DIP switches for configuring addresses 00-32.

The Field Control IC670PBI001 Profibus Interface Unit is part of the GE Fanuc Field Control family of modular and distributed I/O modules and control products. It is compatible with a variety of host architectures. This module is the heart of any field control PLC system. The IC670PBI001 Profibus Interface Unit provides I/O scanning facilities and intelligent processing, as well as group function configurations of up to eight I/O modules to build efficient field control station systems. Some of the features of this field control device include an open architecture to accommodate a wide range of networks, a simple wiring process, minimal need for spares, DIN rail mounting facilities and a simple installation and maintenance process.

Fanuc IC670TBM001 Auxiliary terminal block

The IC670TBM001 Auxiliary Terminal Block is a barrier style field control terminal block manufactured by GE Fanuc.

It comes with 9 terminals and accepts 1 or 2 wires with AWG #14 gauge.

About the IC670TBM001

The Field Control IC670TBM001 Auxiliary Terminal Block is an auxiliary terminal block manufactured by GE Fanuc.

It provides additional terminals for analogue and high-density discrete I/O modules.

It also provides additional ground, return, or common connections. It comes with 9 barrier type terminals.

Each terminal accepts 1 or 2 AWG #14 gauge wire with a 2.1 mm2 cross section.

It can also be used to provide additional terminals for the shield during field wiring.

The IC670TBM001 Auxiliary Terminal Block’s connection point connection provides enough locations to easily terminate two wires from discrete I/O devices on the control panel.

The IC670TBM001 auxiliary terminal block can be connected to a properly installed DIN rail.

During installation, be sure to install the I/O terminal block first before inserting the auxiliary terminal block into the DIN rail.

Fanuc IC670TBM002 Auxiliary I/O Terminal Block

The GE Fanuc IC670TBM002 auxiliary I/O terminal block is part of the Field Control Series.

It can be used as an additional terminal block and other types of connections. It comes with 13 terminals.

About the IC670TBM002

The GE Fanuc IC670TBM002 terminal block is an auxiliary I/O terminal block for devices in the GE Field Control product line, such as field control I/O modules.

The IC670TBM002 auxiliary I/O terminal block is typically used as an additional terminal block for I/O systems that require high-density discrete I/O modules and analogue modules.

It can also be used to make additional connections such as common connections, return connections and additional ground connections.

All terminals on the IC670TBM002 auxiliary I/O terminal block are internally and electrically interconnected.

Auxiliary I/O terminal blocks such as this one connect to the side of the host I/O terminal block, and they have panel-mounting feet that allow them to be mounted on a panel.

The GE Fanuc Field Control IC670TBM002 Auxiliary I/O Terminal Block has box-type terminals instead of the barrier-type terminals found on other auxiliary I/O terminals.

Its panel-mounting feet not only allow it to be panel-mounted, but also help it and its host device meet product vibration specification ratings, because they are as stable as possible during operation.

They also help it and its host device meet the product’s vibration specification ratings because they hold the Auxiliary I/O Terminal and its host device as stable as possible during operation.

The IC670TBM002 Auxiliary I/O Terminal Block can be field wired using instrumentation-grade shielded twisted-pair wire.
